Have you ever struggled to wake up in the morning? I definitely do. Waking up before dawn to go to work is no fun at all, especially when a deranged alarm drags you from your slumber.
Luckily, there is now an option that will help you to wake calm, refreshed and relaxed. Sunrise or wake up lights are designed to emulate sunrise in the morning, a process that naturally stimulates the human brain to discharge specific chemicals that makes the body feel “it’s now time to wake up”.
They are ideal for people who need to wake up very early in the morning, as they are designed to deliver a natural and seamless transition from sleep into wakefulness.
The best product on the market right now is the Philips HF3520 best dawn simulator.
Colored Sunrise Simulation

Philips HF3520 alarm system features a colored sunrise simulation mechanism. The alarm system is engineered to increase its light emission 20 to 40 minutes prior to the alarm. This means that you wake up gradually. The wake up light comes with an option of being woken by one of five different nature inspired theme sounds or the radio.

Clinical researches have shown that the Philips HF3520 alarm system can wake up users with improved moods and energy level. Courtesy of the various brightness settings, the wake up light alarm system, can illuminate the entire room, especially when it is still very dark outside.

Bedside Lamp with Dimming light

At night, this feature provides a relaxing, sunset stimulating night experience that guides people through a restful night. The dimming of the light (which is simple to adjust) simulates the setting sun, turning on your sleep hormones and prepping you for rest.

If the bedroom is dark, you can adjust the display to one of 20 brightness settings to provide a pleasant evening experience. The wake-up light can also act as a convenient bedside lamp that can be used for reading during the night. So this product can be used as both a lamp, a sunrise simulator, and a dusk simulator, all at the touch of the button.

Intelligent snooze

The product is touch sensitive, meaning that it is possible to activate snooze by touching anywhere on the lamp immediately after the audible alarm has gone off. The snooze feature provides an extra nine minutes of sleep. It also comes with a durable lamp laminated with a non-slip rubber that makes the lamp more secure on nightstands.

Drawbacks

It can be a little difficult to turn off the alarm system as the switches are located around the side of the circular face.

The main issue I have found with using the wake up light is related to the switches, you can't look at the switches when the light is on because it's so bright! Of course, you can easily turn the brightness down or off, so I don't find this to be a big problem.

Unfortunately, The lamp is not widely available in many stores, and the price is also a little bit higher compared to similar products on the market.

Luckily though, it is available through amazon and ships to Australia!

I hope you will like the Philips HF3520 Wake-Up Light With Colored Sunrise as much as I do. I really think its the best product available.
